We're thinking of producing a second edition of Change-Ringing on Handbells Volume 1, with some updates. We've already corrected various small errors, just by uploading new versions of the book to Amazon (one of the benefits of publishing with a print-on-demand system). But there are some more significant additions we would like to make, which would change the contents and layout a little.
- A few times when ringing with our beginners' group, the lack of a blue line diagram for Little Bob Minor has seemed like an omission.
- Similarly, when introducing touches of Plain Bob Minor, we have found that it would be useful to have a complete diagram for the tenors in "wrong and home twice".
- Although Volume 1 does discuss simulators and individual practice, we wrote more about those topics in Volume 2, and we think it would be useful to transfer some of the new material back to Volume 1.
Would readers like to suggest any other changes? Are there other diagrams that you need frequently and wish you could find in the book instead of turning to a website? Are there any favourite touches or quarter peal compositions that you think should be included?
